Service Description
Our ethos is ‘ the best surfer is the one having the most fun!’ Our surf club, sponsored by TATA Steel, provides an opportunity for those who already know how to surf and have found the bug for surfing to surf in a friendly, fun and encouraging environment. Suitable for aged 8-16 years old who already know how to surf e.g. you will have had to have attended one of our surf clubs in the past or had a full beginner 2 hour lesson with us or another school (please get in touch if you are not sure if you should book the surf club). This means we get to skip the basics and head straight to waves to have some fun! IMPORTANT! If you have any not surfed before, have low confidence and / or had limitWe know that during the summer, you may have other plans so we’re introducing our pay as you surf club! Suitable for aged 8-16 years old who already know how to surf e.g. you will have had to have attended one of our surf clubs in the past or had a full beginner 2 hour lesson with us or another school (please get in touch if you are not sure if you should book the surf club). This means we get to skip the basics and head straight to waves to have some fun! IMPORTANT! If you have any not surfed before, have low confidence and / or had limited experience with surfing you MUST book on our ‘Rookie’ programme OR book one of our 2 hour lessons to learn the basic fundamentals of surfing before attending Surf Club. You may be asked to leave the surf club if it becomes apparent that you are unable to surf/ havnt completed surf lessons before as this puts yourself and others at risk. All equipment is provided - wetsuit and surfboard. It’s recommended that parents/guardians stay for the duration of the sessions in the event that the child needs any assistance to/from the beach. If we have to cancel a lesson due to weather/dangerous conditions then it will be re-arranged or credited to you if it cannot be re-arranged. At least an hour will be spent in the water each week. The other time will be spent changing and opportunity for ‘land based’ activities including warm up and other land based activities.
